Over the years we have carried out work on a wide variety of commercial premises from shops, restaurants, garages to offices throughout the United Kingdom.

Commercial premises rely on a range of electrical systems - all of which we can design, install and maintain.

 

We also carry out detailed inspections and testing to ensure your systems comply with the relevant laws and regulations.

The law requires that all business owners, their directors, managers and employees comply with the electricity at work. The law states that all electrical installations must be maintained and safe to use at all times.  We can advise you about the current regulations as well as help you to meet the standards required for Fire Safety Certification.

All of our commercial work is carried out to the relevant British Standards.

Here are a few examples of the Commercial work we undertake:

bulletShop re-fits - Complete design installation of all electrics in conjunction with our
clients requirements.  Our locations for shop re-fits range from York, Lakeside shopping centre
Thurrock Essex (Various units), high street shops, restaurants (kitchen and

bulletGarages - maintenance of plant in workshops, service and shop floor areas of main dealerships, as well as smaller local garages,

bullet Electrical testing, inspection and certification,
bullet Emergency lighting systems designed, installed and maintained to current British Standards,

In addition we can also carry out periodic inspections and testing and will provide reports giving details of any remedial action required to meet your legal commitments under the current Health and Safety legislation, including emergency lighting, fire alarm systems and security lighting.  We also carry out P.A.T (Portable Appliance Testing) 110V or 240V with computer printouts.

All of our work is completed to 17th edition regulations and D & D Electrics are National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC) registered, as well as Part P registered.  All our work complies with Part P (Electrical Safety) regulations. Electrical Safety Certificates are issued on completion of the work.
